Fired Up is the first of a series of exhibitions for 2011, which will take as its theme one of the five classical elements: fire, earth, water, air and ether. The show is curated by the founder and CEO of Gazelli Art House, Mila Askarova.

Here you can experience the elements in their most raw form – through the medium of art If you want to swap your Bingo numbers for visual entertainment, this is the exhibition to see. It is a new way of seeing the familiar elements from a new and artistic perspective.

The exhibition is taking place at a temporary location in an old dairy building on Wakefield Street. It’s an amazing, huge space that showcases colossal canvases and installations by Farid Rasulov, Rory McCartney, Lauren Cotton, David Jones, and Joe Clark.

Fired up opened its doors to visitors on the 10^th of February with a private view – accompanied by DJs from Hot Chip. According to Mila Askarova – “ It was a great success. It saw some 500 people coming, which is a very large number for a small start-up gallery that has just been introduced to London’s sophisticated art market”.

Through grand openings, artists talks, workshops and collaborations with other art forms Gazelli Art House intends to invite individuals to embark on a journey of understanding art, establishing bespoke dialogues and relationships between artists, writers, specialists, students and novice, in order to provide a new setting for the creation of contemporary art and deliver the message of the finest international artists to a wide audience of both new and established collectors.
